Vitamin C has a dirty little secret…
The majority of ascorbic acid (source of Vitamin C) comes from GMO corn, likely sprayed with roundup, glyphosate, weed killer.
Additionally, what so many people miss to understand is that synthetic Vitamin C has shown no positive effect when going head to head against natural sources of Vitamin C.
In a head to head study of camu-camu berries versus ascorbic acid, in smokers, only the natural Vitamin C from camu-camu berries showed to reduce oxidative stress (PMID: 34073317).
