Prime Minister Modi expressed sympathy and support for Israel after the dreadful attack by Hamas terrorists. However, he did not express any sympathy for Gaza.
This did not go down well with Shashi Tharoor. Tharoor had created a controversy when he refused to call Hamas a terrorist organisation, probably with an eye on the Muslim vote bank.
