Priyanka Chopra purposely took off her engagement ring once arriving in India to keep direct proof of her engagement to Nick Jonas out of the lens of Indian paparazzi. But yesterday Chopra felt ready to share the first glimpse of ring and did so on her friend and fellow Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon’s Instagram. Jonas reportedly closed an entire Tiffany & Co. store to pick it out.
The ring appears to be a three-carat cushion-cut diamond with a custom setting and estimated retail value of over $100,000, a ring expert from RareCarat.com told ELLE.com, though official details from Tiffany’s haven’t come out just yet.
The ring is visible in a photo of Chopra and Indian actress Raveena Tandon, posted to Tandon’s Instagram account on Tuesday.
“Peecee and I getting our pouts in order,” the caption read.
Neither Jonas, 25, nor Chopra, 36, has confirmed the engagement, but fans have been wondering about their relationship ever since they walked the red carpet together at the 2017 Met Gala. That heated up this year after reports the pair were dating.
Jimmy Kimmel asked Chopra about the Met Gala appearance last year on his late night show, saying “Are you dating Nick Jonas? Isn’t he, like, 11 years old?”“We were both wearing Ralph Lauren,” she said. “And we decided to go together because it was fun.”

The rock is a sizable cushion-cut diamond on a silver band, which Chopra wore on her left ring finger. Jonas had reportedly closed down a whole Tiffany & Co. store just to choose the right engagement ring. From the looks of the piece, it seems the shut-down was totally worth it.
She and Jonas have not yet addressed their engagement in public, but the singer appeared to confirm the news over the weekend. When one attendee at the John Varvatos party congratulated him, Jonas replied, “Thanks, man.”
There are no details on Chopra and Jonas’ upcoming nuptials yet, however, their next order of business is introducing each other’s families. Jonas and his clan are reportedly flying out to India to meet Chopra’s family, a source told People.
Chopra is even reportedly throwing a party with her family and closest friends this weekend in Mumbai to celebrate the engagement. The festivities are apparently planned for August 18.
